The gifts in our Gift of Hope catalog are valued at their real cost and are representative of programs and projects International Medical Corps conducts to fulfill our mission to save lives and relieve suffering.

By purchasing a Gift of Hope in this catalog, you are making a donation to International Medical Corps. Your gift will be put to use right away where it is needed most. You’ll help deliver emergency medical and related services to those affected by conflict, disaster and disease, and train people in their communities, providing them with the skills they need to recover, chart their own path to self-reliance and become effective first responders themselves. Is it secure to give online?

Yes, our website uses secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect the transmission of any billing Information that you submit to us via the website when you use our secure online donation forms, and the billing Information you provide to us is stored securely according to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). Will I receive a receipt for my gift and is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, you will receive an email confirmation of your gift that will include language explaining that your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

How will I receive confirmation that my gift went through?

After making your gift, you will be directed to a thank-you confirmation page within a few seconds. Due to high traffic, this page may load slowly but please do not click "give now" again. If the page does not come up within a few seconds, check your inbox to see if you received our confirmation email. Occasionally, the emails will go to your junk/spam inboxes, so please make sure to check there as well.

If you have not received your thank you confirmation email within 24 hours, please email us at [email protected]. Please include the email address that you used when making your gift, the amount of your gift, and the day you made it. Do not include any sensitive payment information.

Will I be notified when my e-card recipient receives their card?

Your e-card will be sent out on the day that you specified when purchasing your gift, but you will not be notified of when it is sent or received. If you chose to send your e-card on the same day you purchased your gift, please allow up to 2 hours for the card to arrive at the recipient’s inbox.

Can I send my e-card anonymously?

No, the recipient will know that you were the one who made the gift in their honor. They will not know the amount that you donated unless you specify that in your free-form note section.

How does the Gifts of Hope catalog work?

It’s easy! Choose a gift that provides health and hope to those in need and add it to your shopping cart. Check out and customize your e-card. Your loved one will receive a special holiday card describing the gift given in their honor. Your gift goes to work immediately to help survivors of disasters get lifesaving care and rebuild their lives and communities.

How is the price of each gift determined?

The price of each Gift of Hope is an estimate for the item and the administrative costs to deliver the goods and services to the field.

Can I choose the country my donation will benefit or send the gift to a particular person/myself?

No. To ensure that to ensure that your gift has the maximum lifesaving impact, you cannot designate your gift to a particular country program or person. It will be put to work right away wherever it is needed most to save lives and relieve suffering.
